The Alchemist – Paulo Coelho
This book has been a personal bible, guide, and confidant. It suggests that everything in the universe is connected, and that by following our personal legends and destiny, we contribute to the greater good of humanity. The use of allegory and symbolism adds depth to the story, allowing people to interpret the book’s messages in their own unique way.
The Divine Matrix – Gregg Braden
This book explores one of my most favorite subjects – science of spirituality and its implication on our universe. Braden draws upon a variety of scientific disciplines, including quantum physics, biology, and neuroscience, to support his claims about this field called the ‘divine matrix’ which is the fundamental building block of reality and is responsible for shaping our lives and experiences. He also incorporates ancient spiritual traditions and practices from around the world, showing how they are consistent with modern scientific theories.
The Outlier – Malcom Gladwell
Gladwell challenges readers to think differently about success and achievement, suggesting that it is not just a matter of individual talent and hard work, but also the circumstances and opportunities, cultural background, family upbringing, and access to opportunities that play a part in shaping the trajectory of one’s life. Makes you look at your own life’s design and what contributed to the path you’re on and where you’re headed.
