Juggling social media, web content, PR and events for an entire airline? That’s just Tuesday for Juror Jessica Stettler. With over 15 years of digital marketing experience, she leads integrated digital and social campaigns as Manager, Digital Engagement & Partnerships at Envoy Air, picking up honors like the Envoy President’s Award and DFWIMA Marketer of the Year along the way. Read on to see what aspect of a project leaves the biggest impression on Jessica when she’s reviewing Davey entries.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Every day looks a little different, which is part of what I love about aviation. My role supports the broader organization, so I’m constantly juggling priorities — from managing social media and website content to supporting PR and events. We run a lean team, which means I wear a lot of hats, and I’ve gotten really good at staying flexible and focused no matter what comes up.
When did you know that this career was what you wanted to do?
Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. Early on, I recognized that I was drawn to the intersection of culture and communication — specifically how brands show up in the social media space. When I found a role that let me channel that creative energy, while also solving complex problems in real time, I knew this was the right path. For me, it’s not just about making things look good, but it’s about thinking creatively in every sense, whether that’s a campaign concept or finding an innovative solution to an unexpected challenge.
Do you have any hobbies that shape your work today?
My biggest role outside of work is being a mom of two, and I think it’s shaped me more than any hobby could. It’s made me more organized, more patient, and incredibly intentional with my time. More than that, it gives me purpose — I want to model a strong work ethic for my kids, and that drives how I show up every day.
How do you stay up-to-date with industry trends?
I’m pretty active on LinkedIn — I find it’s one of the best places to stay plugged into what’s happening in the industry and see what other creatives and marketers are doing. But honestly, some of my best learning happens in person. I’m actually an Executive Organizer for DallasMeetup, and we put on quarterly networking events for professionals all across DFW. It’s industry-agnostic, which I love, because you end up in really unexpected conversations that push your thinking in new directions. It keeps me sharp and connected in a way that goes beyond a screen.
In an ever-changing digital landscape, what aspects of a project leave a lasting impression?
Trends shift and platforms evolve, but the ability to genuinely engage and draw emotion from an audience is timeless. That’s what I believe leaves a lasting impression, not the format or the channel, but the feeling it creates.
Time is running out to get your projects in front of Jurors like Jessica. Enter by this Friday, July 31st and prove your small team has no limits.
